Introduction
The supervised project is part of the Internet and Multimedia Business 2 years-diploma syllabus. Saint-Lô’s IT University asked us to develop “a product or a multimedia service from the design phase to the development of a nearly accomplished prototype”. Supervised by our tutor Mrs Moreaux, information and communication theories professor, we will apply our graphic design, communication, writing, computing and linguistic skills.
The project will lead to the writing of a report and a public defense in front of a jury.
Subject
The given subject is the following one: Luxury brand.
For the good understanding of the subject, we have made some research and written a document linking the subject and our research to the project.


To reply to the subject “luxury brand“, we chose the « Dior » Brand.
Dior, a corporation founded in 1946 by the French couturier Christian Dior, belongs today to Bernard Arnault’s LVMH group.

Dior is without doubt one of the brands that reflects the more what luxury is today : creativeness, beauty, wealth and unique. Fashion, fragrance, cosmetics but also watchmaking and jewellery, that’s what Dior is today. And whatever the field, perfection is never forgotten.

Depending on the products, the brand reaches a particular target. Dior set up a high price policy, in accordance to the spirit of a luxury brand, but it also touches a larger audience thanks to the cosmetic products and its accessories (purses, shoes, glasses, etc.) that are more affordable.

THE PROJECT'S OBJECTIVES

Develop a new dynamic website related to the Dior brand image, in order to bring freshness and newness.

Develop a multimedia product, carry a video project to showcase their latest products and to set targets.

Build an adaptable communication campaign and organise an event, using an information channel to enhance the success of the brand.
